Irish Society for Behaviour Analysis

Alan Tennyson has extensive expertise in the human rights based approaches and evidence‑based application of behavioural science. He currently leads the implementation of rights‑based PBS within Ability West, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities who experience behaviours of concern. Within Ability West, Alan is the Internal Chair of the Human Rights Promotion Committee and serves as Clinical Lead for Digital Transformation and Assisted Decision‑Making, supporting organisational alignment with the Assisted Decision‑Making (Capacity) Act 2015 and the development of accessible, ethical systems of support. Alan is a full member of the Irish Society for Behaviour Analysis (ISBA), serves on the board of the ISBA and is a founding member. In these roles Alan advocates for professional regulation, safeguarding, and ethical standards in behaviour analytic practice across Ireland.
